No Dumping signs were put up at various points along Florida Road last week to help address the problem of illegal dumping on the road. We appeal to all businesses and visitors to Florida Road to refrain from dumping refuse on the road and interleading lanes. Please report illegal dumping and any suspicious activity to the FRUIP control room on 086 111 6113. DSW is set to come through and assess placement areas of new bins in the area.
Last week the CGM team replanted the tree bowl and cleared Florida and Lambert Road of dumped refuse, and re-bagged and swept the northern passage. The CGM team maintained and weeded the garden at the corner of Florida and Innes Road. A big thank you to Parks Department for adding more plants to this garden.
There have been no reports of crime in our precinct last week and security has been working well with our sidewalk monitors to keep our precinct safe.
