Florida Rd was a hub of activity last Friday the 8th of June, as a SAPS operation took place. Two operations were held on the day between 14h00 – 16h00 and 18h00 – 20h00. The plain clothes operation focused on stop and searches, awareness, general monitoring and fact finding which would align future targeted operations in the area. It took place along the full length of Florida Rd and Colonel Radebe, Station Commander of the SAPS Berea proposed the idea at last weeks SAPS meeting. We would like to thank all those who took the time to assist, the SAPS Berea, Metro Police, Excellerate Security, CPF sectors one and two and local residents.
