Focus Marketing, managers of the Durban Routes Campaign, were approached by the Florida Road UIP to create a fund to market the entire Florida Road precinct, with the objective of encouraging local, domestic, and international travellers to visit your precinct.
We are calling on all Florida Road businesses to pull together and contribute towards this joint marketing effort.
With a minimal fee of R1000 per month per establishment, paid into a trust fund to be managed by the Florida Road Marketing Fund Committee-elected managing agent, Maxprop, businesses will receive the following short-term benefits:
- A “recommended establishment” flag on the appropriate Google location map on the Durban Routes Website.
- A direct link to a Block advert, advertising your business, on the Durban Routes Website (which now receives over 2,5 million hits per annum).
- A “contributors” tag in weekly posts placed on Durban Routes social media, advertising the overall Florida Road precinct, but will specifically tag business’ Facebook page.
Additionally, business contributions will have the following long-term benefits
- Promote the precinct through an overall Florida Road precinct marketing campaign on Durban Routes website, and in future printed magazines (please see https://www.durbanroutes.co.za/route-b/)
- Organisation of ‘international standard’ events on the approval of the soon-to-be-elected Florida Road Marketing Committee.
The Durban Routes ‘Discover Durban & Surrounds Campaign’ showcases the top places to See, Stay, Play, Eat & Meet in Durban & the surrounding areas.
Their website www.durbanroutes.co.za is fully integrated with Google Maps and geared for local and international travellers who can view all the top officially recommended attractions & the latest upcoming events.
