Please note that wooden pallets will be NOT be allowed into Mitchell Park and Jameson Park for a picnic set-up any longer. A bug called the Shot Hole Borer are destroying trees and, in an effort, to protect and preserve the trees within the park/garden, pallets which likely contain the bug won’t be allowed in anymore. The bug has destroyed a tree at the Botanic Gardens recently as well. Click this link to find out more.
