The savage run that took place on Sunday, August 14 2016, was a huge success with a total of 1228 participants. 24 year old Bonginkosi Zwane won the 21km run in 1hr 9 minutes and 37 seconds. Statistics show that almost 500 participants entered the 10km run, close to 678 participants entered the 21km run and 50 others entered the 10km walk.
