Cleansing and Solid Waste Unit would like to advise residents of eThekwini that as from the 8th of February 2021, garden refuse sites will revert to their normal operational hours which are in general 07:00am to 17:00pm daily.
Residents are reminded of following:
•Residents visiting all CSW waste facilities are kindly required to comply with all COVID protocols and adhere to onsite instructions. Remember, No mask – No entry!
•All personal hygiene and sanitary products must be double bagged without compressing the waste. In addition, waste generated from household with residents in isolation or quarantine must also be double bagged and left out on the verge on normal collection day to protect CSW employees that are handling the waste.
We would like to thank residents for adhering to the changes implemented during previous adjusted level 3 regulations.
