The Florida Road UIP Cleaning, Greening, and Maintenance team together with the security team’s assistance continue efforts to keep our sidewalks free of low hanging branches and weeding the verges. The fibre installation is complete, and the Metro Fibre team is reinstating trenches and junctions that were dug up for the installation.
Last week a FRUIP team member alerted security to an attempted theft of a motor vehicle on Florida Road. The suspects were apprehended as they left the area and handed over to SAPS. The Sidewalk Monitor was rewarded by the Florida Road UIP for his contribution to our fight against crime. Job well done!
