Theft of copper water meters has increased in the Morningside area recently, with Florida Road also being affected. Residents and businesses are advised to contact the eTM Water Department on 031 311 1111 to have these meters replaced with plastic units. Last week a FRUIP Sidewalk Monitor together with our security team apprehended a suspect who had stolen copper piping causing water loss and a case was opened.
