The Florida Rd UIP would like to thank Kyle and Chad Russouw from Detector Dog Security Services and SAPS Berea for their prompt actions in the early hours on Friday morning (28 September 2018), which led to the arrest of a wanted suspect. Whilst patrolling Florida Road, the suspect and vehicle were positively identified and a patrolling SAPS vehicle manned by Sargent. P. S. Zindela and Constable M. A. Ngubo was flagged down and proceeded to conduct the arrest. The prompt actions by those involved will make a big difference in combating crime within the precinct.
